StreDog was built on over ten years of direct experience in operational and sport dog training. A journey that began early: at just 17 years old, with a first dog working in civil protection as a surface search unit, when working with a dog meant responsibility, method, and mutual trust long before it meant sport.
Over time, together with Matteo, we developed a team with certified technical expertise. We both hold official decoy licenses for utility and defense work, a key requirement in Switzerland for disciplines such as Mondioring. We have trained numerous dogs, and with each of our dogs we have competed multiple times at World Championships, approaching competition as the natural result of well-structured work, not as the ultimate goal.
Our approach is based on a clear principle: training must adapt to the dog, its character, and its natural abilities. The foundation of every effective path is the connection between dog and handler, built over time through consistency, respect, and play. For sport dogs, this also means developing proper physical conditioning and introducing training from an early age in a gradual, positive, and engaging way.
We are actively involved in promoting dog sports at both national and international levels and maintain ongoing collaborations with clubs and organizations in Belgium, Italy, France, and Germany. This continuous exchange is essential for the technical, mental, and sporting growth of every dog–handler team.
StreDog is a place for real work, shared experience, and continuous development on the field, for those who want to approach dog training with competence, vision, and genuine passion.
